I have lots and lots of tomatoes! Lucky me!!  Today I'm freezing, canning and juicing tomatoes. I add fresh basil, and garlic to some batches, others I leave plain. Whats your favorite tomato recipe?
Mine ?  Id have to say would be a sliced beefsteak or other big juicy variety. a dash of  salt & pepper, fresh basil leaves, sliced ball mozzarella, drizzled with Olive Oil.  I could make a meal from just that. Brushetta is another yummy one too.
Theres nothing better or more satisfying than going to your pantry and getting home canned goods. I love preparing meals from scratch and that I have grown myself!
